Weighing in at a charming 45 lbs, he has a stunning black and white coat that gleams, but it’s his sweet heart that truly shines. Tom’s journey has been quite the adventure—saved from the euthanasia list at a busy Houston shelter, he’s spent two long years in boarding. Throughout it all, this affectionate boy has remained wonderfully sweet and is always ready for a cuddle. 🤗 In his kennel, he’s calm and respectful, avoiding messes and destruction. But once he hits the play yard, it’s a whirlwind of joy! With his delightful zoomies, Tom shows just how beautiful life can be. 🏃♂️💨 Tom is friendly and greets everyone like an old friend—people, puppies, and especially kids! He’s successfully crate trained and potty trained. He’s also great at vet visits and enjoys the company of other dogs, though he’s fine with a bit of alone time. While he needs some consistent leash training and guidance on commands (just a touch of stubbornness—who can blame him?), Tom is eager to thrive in the hands of an experienced adopter who can provide structure, leadership, and plenty of love! 💖 Although Tom is heartworm positive and undergoing treatment, he’s on track to full health.
