About Turner
Turner is the chocolate-coated king of the doghouse—energetic, clever, and ready for whatever adventure you throw his way. This 55-pound Boxer mix has no shortage of personality. With his curiosity and impressive watchdog instincts, Turner is always keeping an eye on his domain and the family members who are part of it. He thrives when he has room to roam and the chance to burn off energy, whether that's running yard laps, chasing a tennis ball, or joining you on a hike. Turner's got a goofy charm and loves to interact, especially with kids—he's tight with his 13-year-old foster sister. At the same time, he does well with other dogs but can be a bit food-oriented about sharing. Leash manners are still a work in progress since his curiosity sometimes gets the best of him, but with regular walks and consistent training, he'll settle into the routine. Turner is currently being fostered outdoors due to space, but he's eager to become a true member of the family and transition to life inside. Cats are an unknown variable for Turner, so a patient, structured introduction is important. He's ideal for an active household and will especially thrive with attentive, playful people who appreciate his tendency to keep watch from wherever the vantage point is highest. Give Turner the home base he deserves and he’ll reward you with non-stop loyalty and entertainment. Think you and Turner belong together? Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
