The Smart, Bouncy Love Bug This 11-month-old gorgeous Basenji mix weighs about 45 lbs and is the perfect blend of brains, beauty, and heart. She’s already completed agility training, and it shows — she’s a quick learner with loads of potential, especially in the hands of someone who enjoys training and bonding through activity. Meli adores her people and is wonderfully affectionate, always ready to be close by or curl up at your feet once playtime is over. She’s dog-friendly and playful, happily bouncing around with canine friends, yet balanced enough to settle down nicely inside. This sweet girl is also impressively well-mannered and disciplined. Meli is 1000% potty trained, loves her kennel, takes treats gently from your hand, and thrives on routine — staying quiet and calm when she has structure in her day. She’s very clean, enjoys her schedule, and appreciates slow introductions with other dogs before settling into play. Her ideal home? An active companion or family who will embrace her zest for life, continue her training, and give her the structure she thrives on. A fenced yard would be a dream come true, and she’d love a pup sibling to romp around with — though she’s confident enough to shine as the only dog in the home too. At just 11 months old, Meli has her whole life ahead of her.
