About Mama Posie New Mexico
Start your journey together! Apply now. Mama Posie, one of the cherished Colony Cats, is a gentle soul still finding her comfort around people. This sweet adult cat has a shy nature and is taking her time slowly warming up to new friends at the Rocky Mountain Feline Rescue. During her time in foster, she has shown no signs of aggressionânever swatting or bitingâthough she may give a warning hiss if she feels her space is being invaded. With patience and gentle encouragement, food has proven to be a major motivator helping her become more accepting of pets, especially when wearing a sock over a hand. She continues to adjust and is gradually realizing that hands bring comfort, not harm. Mama Posie will thrive in a calm home with someone patient and understanding, ready to go at her pace as she learns to trust fully. She has already shown wonderful house manners, always using her litter box and keeping her living area tidy. Quiet and observant, her foster believes she has the potential to grow into a cuddly lap cat for the right person. Born January 4th, she is a determined Capricornâa sign known for resilience and perseverance, both of which she has in abundance. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
