About Spud
Spud made his mark as the lively office dog and has easily transitioned to the role of faithful housemate. As a tripod, he gets around with no problem, keeping up with anyone who wants to join his adventures. At 2.5 years old, this brindle guy carries about 52 lbs and a good amount of personality. He’s house trained, crate trained, and hasn’t needed crating at his foster home since he doesn’t chew or cause issues when left alone. Spud is famously social with people and loves a good snuggle. He listens well and knows simple commands, sticking to well-mannered ways wherever he goes. Spud has shown some dog aggression, particularly if he’s stressed in a vet setting, but he’s managed neutral interactions with dogs on walks. He’s happiest as the only dog at home and doesn’t pay cats much mind. Cheese is his kryptonite—he’ll learn just about anything for a bite. Walks are easy with him, and he’d fit best with a family ready to offer plenty of affection, strolls, and treats rather than a pile of toys or chews. Spud is adoptable both on the island and stateside. For a November 20th birthday, Spud is a Scorpio—no wonder he’s so resilient and loyal. Ready to make Spud part of your life?
