Let's talk about Pebbles. Much like her cartoon namesake, Pebbles loves a good bone and is always ready to strike a playful pose for the camera. She and her two siblings turned up deep in the rainforest of St Croix last July, and all three are still with the rescue. After a memorable pit stop at Domino Club St Croix—and a quick greeting from volunteers Ernie and Mary Jo—they hitched a ride to safety. Pebbles is a medium-sized, 2-year-old character weighing around 50 lbs. Her sense of humor is hard to miss, especially when she’s zooming circles with a big smile. She’s got a healthy list of loves: belly rubs, toys, zoomies, and especially her foster dad. She gets along well with other dogs and kids, but not with cats. Interest in Pebbles and her siblings cooled off after their rescue, but their story isn’t finished until they find a real home.
