🌲 Meet Forest, a puppy bursting with joy and love! He’s been looking for a new home after being surrendered by his previous family. You see, their older, grumpier dog simply couldn’t handle Forest’s playful spirit, and so he’s now in search of a family who appreciates his zest for life. Forest weighs in at a sprightly 43 lbs right now and is expected to grow to a beautiful 55-60 lbs. This adorable hound has a heart of gold, filled with love for his human friends and a strong sense of adventure. But let’s be clear, if you’re a chicken or any kind of bird, you might just see the hound side of him! 😂 With kids, he tends to play a little rough and tumble, so keep that in mind if there are little ones around. Cats are a bit of a mystery, but a confident feline buddy might get along just fine with him. Forest is a playful companion who enjoys following his people everywhere. Tug of war? Fetch? And while his leash manners still need a little polishing, once he gets going, he settles in well. This lovebug adores interacting with other dogs at day care and is exceptionally well-behaved in the car, ready for any adventure! After an evening walk or exciting playtime, you’ll find him snoozing peacefully in his bed, as calm as a spring day. 🌼 Forest has an upcoming neuter appointment on 4/26, which his previous owner has graciously offered to cover, even if he finds his forever home before that.
