About Kona
Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Kona is a beautiful purebred female Rottweiler with a heartwarming backstory—originally purchased in Italy from champion lines, she came to the US with her military family. Now four years old (born January 20, 2021), Kona has just been spayed and completed a board and train program, ensuring she has a solid foundation in her training. To help her transition, Kona’s trainer offers a free lesson so you can continue guiding her to be her best self. Kona is a sweetheart with people and adores children—she grew up alongside a little girl from ages 2 to 6 and has always done well in a family environment. She is comfortable around cats, but prefers to be the only dog in the household, as she's not friendly with dogs within close range. While she can walk calmly past dogs without reacting, she shines brightest in a home where she can be the only canine companion. Kona's previous family was unable to keep her due to housing restrictions, not temperament, so she’s searching for a new loving home. All of Kona's veterinary needs have been addressed: she’s sterilized, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative. With her Aquarius sun sign, Kona’s independent spirit is perfectly complemented by her affectionate nature. Start your journey together! Apply now.
