About Canyon

Canyon is a big-hearted, goofy German Shepherd who’s been through more than his share of hard knocks. Dumped by his family, he was hit by a car and needed emergency leg surgery. There’s still a surgery ahead to remove the rods in his leg, but it hasn’t dampened his spirit or his wag. Canyon loves playing and soaks up attention. He’s got a huge, affectionate personality and never turns down petting or a game. Crate and potty training are already squared away, and he’ll need crate rest while he finishes healing. Even after all he’s faced, Canyon gets along well with other dogs and is patient with children. Bright and grateful, it’s easy to see he’ll be a loyal sidekick for someone ready to give him a fresh start. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
