About Penelope

Penelope has a gentle, shy temperament and stays close to her comfort zone—especially when her siblings are nearby. Right now, she prefers keeping a low profile and takes her time to open up to new people and surroundings. Penelope responds well to treats and finds plushy toys comforting, hinting at her potential once she feels safe. She thrives around other dogs but will need patience from her humans as she learns to trust and let her personality show. Given her reserved nature, adopters should expect to offer slow introductions and lots of quiet reassurance. Penelope does best with dogs and children but isn’t suitable for homes with cats. If you’re looking for a sweet companion who just needs time to blossom, Penelope may be the perfect fit. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
