Milo is a large, black Domestic Short Hair/Tabby cat living in Berkeley Heights, NJ. At 5 years and 3 months old, he has a short coat and is house trained. Milo is neutered and his vaccinations are up to date. He gets along well with both cats and dogs, though a home with young children may not suit him best.

About Milo

Milo turned up outside his foster mom's door, giving his best yowl until she let him inside—a move he definitely appreciated, given his rough start. After being abandoned by his owner at a business, Milo learned to fend for himself with some colony cats before finally landing somewhere safe and warm. His luck changed, but not every cat dumped outside gets that break. Once settled, Milo adapted quickly to life with both other cats and the house's older dog. He chases stick toys, leans into head rubs, and manages to charm just about everyone. Belly rubs? Not his thing, and he'll let you know when he’s had enough, but he’s never lashed out. Because of this, young children may not be the best match for him. At night, Milo is happiest sharing a bed and seems to crave companionship. He’ll trail you from room to room, and seems to thrive in the company of another friendly cat, making him a great choice for homes with a lonely kitty. Local adoptions only—no applications over 30 miles from Berkeley Heights, NJ or out of state. Milo’s ready to settle in somewhere he’ll be truly understood and cherished. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
