About Todd

They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Todd is a striking senior feline, around 10 years old, in search of a compassionate and loving home. This big, orange-and-white gentleman enjoys nothing more than playtime with toys and mingling with other friendly cats, though he is equally content as a solo pet. While dogs aren’t his favorite companions, he’ll coexist peacefully if they respect his boundaries. Todd truly shines as a snuggler—he loves curling up close, especially on soft fleece blankets, and will reward your affection with his warm presence. Todd has FIV, which means his immune system is weaker and he benefits from regular veterinary care to stay healthy. He also manages chronic stomatitis, even after full dental extraction, and requires a steroid pill mixed into his food twice a week (an easy and affordable routine). For continuity of care, his current vet’s ongoing knowledge of his case would be ideal for his continued health. Some of Todd’s quirky habits make him better suited for a patient, child-free home, particularly with an adopter who has some cat experience. He is a vocal guy, especially at mealtime, and can be a bit food-aggressive—though he’s never scratched or bitten, he will hiss and protest if you interrupt his food or if another cat is eating when he’s not. Quick reflexes are needed in the kitchen, and separate dining areas are best to avoid any sneaky food theft. For the right, understanding home, Todd will be the ultimate companion, especially for someone who cherishes bedtime snuggling and doesn’t mind a few loving arm licks. His adoption fee is $75. He’s neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. Born February 25, Todd is a dreamy Pisces—making him extra affectionate and intuitive! This could be the start of something paw-some.
