About Nash
Nash is the happiest little heart-stealer you'll meet. If your dog needs a sidekick or your family wants a lively, gentle new member, Nash fits right in. This 5-month-old beagle/hound cur mix, about 16 lbs now, should grow into a medium-sized adult. He had a rough start—found sick with his brothers at just a few weeks old—but bounced back in a foster home full of dogs of all ages and humans both young and old. He’s even spent time with cats and treated them with perfect manners. Nash loves every dog he meets and knows how to play or dial it down as needed. He craves fun but is smart enough to read the room. After he’s tired out, Nash is a pro cuddler, happiest snuggled up with another pup or a person. He’s respectful with kids and happy to play fetch. Quick to pick up commands, Nash already knows “sit,” “off,” “touch,” “down,” “treat,” and “no.” He’s doing great with potty training—his crate stays clean, and he rarely has accidents overnight. He enjoys walks (and youth sporting events) on leash. Other hobbies? Nash loves bobbing for ice cubes, chewing treats and bones, and tagging along for anything dog-related. He blends easily into most homes and would thrive with a playful dog buddy and a fenced yard where he can sniff to his heart’s content. If you want extra cuddles, more laughter, and a happy face greeting you, Nash is waiting in Elburn, IL. Start your journey together! Apply now.
