About Sprout
Sprout may look a bit different, but that hasn't stopped her from becoming a standout companion. Attacked by her mom as a puppy, Sprout lost sight in one eye, but she bounced back with the help of a caring foster team and now lives life with full-throttle enthusiasm. She’s loving, playful, and impressively smart, already house trained and knows her basic commands. Sprout delights in toys without ever destroying them and keeps herself entertained with solo play sessions. Around other dogs, she has grown quite social and enjoys fetch, romping around the yard, and attending events with her foster family. Sprout has some resource guarding tendencies with other dogs over food and toys, though never with people. She crates well and loves relaxing as much as she loves outdoor adventures. A fenced yard is a must, and she thrives with an active family that spends time outdoors. She can be a bit clumsy and sometimes runs into things, so she’d do best with older kids and no cats—her chase instinct is just too strong.
