About Mia
Start your journey together! Apply now. Meet Mia, a sweet 2-year-old terrier mix who has already experienced so much in her young life. When she was found running the streets of Oakley, it took all her courage to reach out for help. After a month at the shelter and a close call, she began to blossom in a loving foster home alongside other dogs. Mia may be initially shy and cautious, but once she trusts you, her loyalty knows no bounds. She adores women and children (especially those over 8) and gently asks for patience from men as she builds confidence. While she has lived with cats, a cat-free home is best for her happiness. Mia is house trained, enjoys lounging in cozy dog beds, and loves playing with gentle canine companions. Her favorite things include lap time, comfy beds, and chasing water from the hose on warm days. Mia is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on her vaccinations, with her adoption fee covering all her medical needs. As a Scorpio, she's naturally loyal and intuitive—traits that shine as she seeks her forever family. If you're ready to offer patience, kindness, and plenty of treats, Mia could be the perfect addition to your home. This could be the start of something paw-some.
