Sherbert is a medium-sized blue nose American Pit Bull with plenty of personality and a gentle spirit. He faces life with a unique neurological condition that requires a bit of extra care, including regular vet visits and ongoing medication. Sherbert is currently taking a low dose of Prednisone and needs a home where he isn't surrounded by lots of unfamiliar dogs. Carpets or rugs will make things easier for his mobility, and though stairs might slow him down, a patient adopter will see how quickly he tries to adapt. He’s working on house, crate, and leash training—though crating isn’t his favorite, he does settle in after some coaxing. He loves fetch, though sometimes he’ll need help finding the ball, and he always repays kindness with the softest, most sincere kisses. Sherbert would do best with a secure fenced yard for safe play.
