About Nayeli
Nayeli is still getting the hang of what love feels like but each day she opens up a bit more. She’s a 2-year-old, medium-sized brindle Pit Bull Terrier who’s about 39 pounds. She’s making steady progress with house training and leash skills but already knows how to settle in her crate. Nayeli doesn’t have any commands down just yet, but she’s working hard to be brave and learn to trust people. New faces make her nervous, so she needs a little extra time to warm up. Once she’s comfortable, her sweet and gentle side shows up. Indoors, Nayeli is calm, quiet, and appreciates gentle playtime with people or another dog. She gets along well with other dogs, cats, and older kids. She enjoys walks, though her favorite thing is sprinting freely—she truly thrives with a private, fenced yard where she can run full-speed now and then. Having come from a tough background, Nayeli has learned that people can be kind. She’ll do best in a peaceful home that understands her need for patience and reassurance as she builds confidence. Her ideal spot would have a safe retreat for when company visits, a big fenced yard, and ideally a playful dog buddy or two. She’ll share her affection with her whole pack once she feels secure.
