About Rambo
Rambo is a large, deeply affectionate Doberman who needs an experienced, dog-savvy home with a calm, structured environment. He does best with people who have handled working or guarding breeds before, and he really benefits from confident, clear leadership. When Rambo bonds, he becomes truly loving and seeks as much closeness as he can politely ask for—leaning his tall frame against your side for attention, never pushy or rough. He's exceptionally polite for his size and doesn’t jump or act wild. Rambo thrives on mental engagement and already knows quite a few commands, including Sit, Paw, Down, Stay, and even Spin. Muzzle training is already checked off too. He’d love someone who wants to keep up with training and keep his mind busy. So far, Rambo has shown a calm demeanor around other dogs when separated by a fence, even with small pups. He might do well with a respectful, mellow canine companion as long as his space is respected. Physically, Rambo’s “long back syndrome” means his spine is longer than ideal for his muscular frame, which can lead to occasional soreness. This means his activity level will need watching, and his household should make sure he isn’t roughed up or put in an uncomfortable environment. Supportive care, joint supplements, and a cozy, considerate home setup will help him stay comfortable and happy. Rambo is most rewarding for someone who understands these special needs and can offer him both boundaries and lots of love. He’s loyal, soulful, and ready for his true match. Let’s make it official, apply to adopt!
