About Eloise
Eloise, known as Ello to her friends, is a 5-year-old, 62-pound Pit Bull mix who has weathered difficult times. She arrived at her foster home after surviving neglect and abuse, and she's looking for a family ready to show her how good life can be. Ello is house, crate, and leash trained—a solid start for any adopter. She gets along with dogs, older children, and even cats, so she could fit into a variety of family settings. Whether in an apartment, a house, or traveling on the road, Eloise adjusts well. She enjoys lounging on the couch, car rides, wrestling with other dogs, and soaking up attention from her people. Eloise completed a Pups for Parole training program, so she's got the basics down. She’ll need a family willing to maintain her training so she doesn’t lose her good habits. Due to her past, she developed hyperkeratosis, meaning her paw pads need ongoing care: regular balms, trims, and daily medication (gaba, Apoquel, omegas, and hip/joint meds). Her condition is managed, but it’s something her future family should be prepared for. Her adoption fee covers her spay, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip. Eloise has a lot of love to give—and waits for someone committed and ready to let her shine. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
