Dumpling is a 12-year-old Anatolian Shepherd mix with a big heart and a lot of personality. She’s about 87 pounds and sports a beautiful short brindle and tricolor coat. When she landed at Rescue One, she was dealing with a large hernia, but now she’s all patched up and ready for her forever home. Dumpling is house trained, crate trained, and happiest in a home with a fenced yard where she doesn’t have to fuss with the leash much. She gets along well with other dogs and is great with kids, though her size means she could knock over little ones by accident. Cats haven’t crossed her path yet, but she’s open to a meet-and-greet. Despite her age, Dumpling keeps up with playful pups and loves snuggling on the couch after playtime. She’s low-maintenance but does enjoy her joint treats to stay comfortable. She’s heading into a basic obedience program, ready to graduate as a well-mannered companion. Her adoption fee is fully sponsored, covering spay, vaccinations, and a full wellness check.
