About Shadow

Shadow is aptly named—he tends to stick close to his humans and seeks out their company whenever possible. At just 7 or 8 months old, he still has a lot of playful puppy energy, weighing in around 60 lbs, with the look of an Anatolian Shepherd mix. Shadow is initially shy and very submissive, but as he warms up, a silly and affectionate side starts to come out. He enjoys games of Chuck it, long walks, being goofy, and mixing it up with both dogs and people. Shadow’s a food lover and isn’t picky about sharing. He’s crate trained, and typically keeps his business outside if let out regularly; he does sometimes mark inside, so he wears a belly band for now. Shadow gets along well with other dogs and older kids, but he’s not a good fit for homes with cats or small animals due to a chasing instinct. He’ll do best with a fenced yard and would thrive with a canine sibling. Shadow already comes when called and is learning other commands. He’s vaccinated and neutered.
