About Sylvia
Sylvia’s story doesn’t gloss over the hard parts. She was abandoned as a young cat, spent her earliest months scrambling to survive on the streets, and carries that history in her little torn ear. When rescue found her, she was in rough shape—malnourished, pregnant, and crawling with fleas and worms. But she beat the odds and landed safely at Rescued Treasures, where she put the hard days behind her. Now, Sylvia’s about 2–3 years old, playful, and finally healthy, embracing the kittenhood she missed. What stands out about Sylvia is her warmth. She adores people and comes running the second you say her name, then spins in delighted circles until you reach down for a good pet. She’ll nudge you gently if you stop—affection is never in short supply with this funny, charming cat. Sylvia isn’t a lap cat or one who likes to be picked up, but she’s always nearby, checking in and making sure you know she cares. She has her quirks: an intense love of toy mice, birdwatching, and hours fixated on Cat TV videos. She’s best suited to a home with friendly, gentle cats and will need a strictly dog-free environment; her deep fear of dogs can’t be worked around. Sylvia is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and fully vetted—ready for a forever home where her affectionate spirit can shine. If you’re looking to give a rescue cat a real second chance, Sylvia’s ready to meet you. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
