Meet Kit! This 1–2-year-old, 60 lb sweetheart is as resilient as she is loving. Kit may be a Shar Pei mix, but she looks like a mini Akita! Recently spayed, Kit was also found to have an old spinal injury—she had been shot, and a bullet is lodged near her spine. Despite this, she's doing great and is currently showing no signs of pain beyond a droopy tail. We're working with specialists to determine if the bullet needs to be removed. Kit adores people and loves attention. She'd do best as an only dog in a home with older kids. She hasn't been tested with cats.
