Zumba
AvailableZumba lives in Dodson, MT and blends Labrador Retriever and German Shepherd Dog traits, with a unique tricolor coat: brown, black, and white. This young, large dog is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. She is house trained and friendly with both dogs and children. Zumba does have special needs due to Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, which means her skin is fragile and her joints are loose. She’s looking for someone who understands her care requirements and can provide a soft, loving environment.
About Zumba
Zumba is a striking German Shepherd and Labrador Retriever mix, born in early 2018. She’s gentle, sensitive, and honestly about as good as dogs come. Zumba’s house manners are nearly flawless: she’s polite, fully housetrained, and crate trained. She flourishes around other dogs and does wonderfully with children too. Walks are a highlight for her, and she moves easily on leash. Smart as a whip, Zumba picks up new things fast and already knows her obedience basics. Her world isn't without challenges — she was born with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, which makes her skin fragile and her joints loose. Even small scratches can mean a trip to the vet, so life on soft grass and under watchful, loving eyes is a must. She needs an adopter who truly gets her medical needs and can handle the unique care (financial and emotional) she’ll require, but she gives back an abundance of affection and life. If you have a safe, calm home and a heart open to a dog who will depend on you, Zumba has nothing but joy to give. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!

Questions about Zumba
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Zumba’s breeds, Labrador Retriever and German Shepherd Dog, are best in environments with space to move and active families who give them plenty of attention. She will thrive in a home with a secure yard and people willing to include her in their daily life.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
A Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd mix like Zumba usually needs a good-sized yard or regular outdoor activity. However, due to her special needs, soft grassy areas and gentle walks are more important than vigorous play.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Both Labrador Retrievers and German Shepherds are known for doing well with children, and Zumba herself gets along with kids. She’s a good fit for families who can be mindful of her medical needs.
