About Zumba

Make their next chapter their best one yet. Zumba is a beautiful German Shepherd and Labrador Retriever mix who was born in January 2018. She has a gentle spirit and is as sweet as can be, with a truly sensitive soul. Zumba demonstrates perfect manners around the home: she is polite, house and crate trained, gets along fantastically with other dogs, and is wonderful with children. She loves her daily walks, staying calm and attentive on a leash, and she already knows her basic obedience commands. Her intelligence means she picks up new things in no time, making her a pleasure to teach and interact with. Despite her fun-loving and happy nature, Zumba faces the unique challenge of Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. This rare genetic disorder makes her skin extremely fragile and her joints a bit loose, so even minor scratches may require prompt veterinary care to keep her healing safely. Zumba seeks someone who understands her special medical needs and can provide the loving, attentive environment she deserves. Ideally, her new home will have a soft lawn for safe play and an adopter willing to be both her companion and advocate. She has so much love to give, and her zest for life is inspiring. Zumba is looking for that special person to be her happy ending and give her all the care and affection she deserves. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
