Yeti is a bundle of energy with a playful, friendly, and affectionate temperament. He loves rope toys, bones, squeaky stuffed animals, and never passes up a game of tug of war or chase. If given a toy, Yeti will amuse himself for ages, but if not, he gets creative and finds his own fun. His puppy-like exuberance sometimes leads him to jump on people, especially children, so ongoing impulse control training is a must. Right now, he simply loves on kids and gets excited, and with steady guidance, his manners are coming along. He enjoys time with the resident dogs, learning social boundaries, and is always eager for new playmates—though not every dog enjoys his bounding enthusiasm at first. With cats, Yeti shows curiosity. He does well with confident, dog-savvy cats but may pester a shy cat who isn't ready to interact. A space where cats can retreat works best. He’s already house trained and up to date on vaccinations. Yeti has started agility training and is the type to soar over obstacles with more gusto than required. He just needs a little weight gain and should stay on a flea preventive due to a flea allergy. A routine with daily walks and play will keep him balanced. He thrives with handlers who are patient and active, and his new adopter should be ready to keep working on basic commands and boundaries with both animals and people.
