Meet Sierra, a sweet girl with a beautiful brindle coat and charming spotted paws. Born in October 2022, she weighs about 35 pounds. Sierra was previously adopted but has returned to us, and now she needs a home that can provide the life she truly deserves. Sierra loves walks and playing fetch. She gets along well with small dogs and even dog-experienced cats. While visiting a foster home, she did well with all the other dogs and was great during boarding. Sierra enjoys cuddling on the couch with family members, and she sleeps soundly in her crate at night, as well as during the day when left alone. She seems to be potty trained and hasn't had any accidents while being cared for. Although she isn't overly motivated by food, higher value treats will catch her attention during training. Sierra has a calm demeanor but can be playful or scared at times. She is gentle with smaller dogs, yet she requires a fully fenced backyard where she can run freely. Though Sierra has some fear of strangers, with patience and treats, she learns to feel more comfortable around them. It's important for her future owner to guide her through new situations, helping her build confidence. She might thrive around older children, but her herding instincts make her a better fit for families without young kids. Recently, Sierra had a great outing at Petco, walking calmly and waiting patiently. This lovely dog deserves a devoted home, just as she gives so much love.
