About Peaches
Your new best friend is just one click away. Meet Peaches: a happy, cuddly girl who loves adventures, going for walks, and snuggling either in your lap or at your feet. True to her name, Peaches can be both sweet and sometimes a little sassy—she gets along beautifully with adults and older kids, but she has developed some resource guarding tendencies around food, treats, and bones with other animals and small children. She’s never bitten or hurt anyone, but will growl or snap if dogs, cats, or young kids approach her goodies. In her foster home, Peaches eats and enjoys her treats in her own safe space, where she feels comfortable and secure. She loves to play and shows great manners—her foster family, experienced with resource guarders, has had no trouble managing her needs. After two and a half years in her original home, Peaches is now adjusting to all sorts of changes and is looking for a patient adopter, ideally one understanding of or experienced with resource guarding. Peaches is a wonderful, smart, and playful companion who promises to fill her new home with joy. She is spayed, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and microchipped. Make their next chapter their best one yet.

Questions about Peaches
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Mixed-breed dogs like those with Labrador Retriever and Dogue de Bordeaux ancestry generally do well in homes that can offer them plenty of companionship and space. They thrive in environments where they can be both active and relaxed with their family.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
These breeds enjoy having access to a secure yard to play and exercise, but they can also adapt to homes without large yards as long as they receive regular walks and outdoor activities.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Labrador Retrievers are known for being good with children, while Dogue de Bordeaux can be gentle but may require supervision with young kids due to their size. With proper training and supervision, mixed breeds of this type are often well-suited to homes with older children.
