Sweet, playful, and just the right amount of crumbly—I’m basically the sugar cookie of dogs! I’m Cookie! I am a 3-year-old, 50ish pound Cattle Dog mix with a sugary-sweet personality and just enough cinnamon spice to keep life fun! Like any good sugar cookie, I’m sweet as can be, have plenty of energy, am a total crowd-pleaser, and guaranteed to brighten your day! I’m already house, crate, and leash trained, and I know a few commands like sit, stay, and go to bed—with room to learn more if you’ve got the treats! I will do just about anything for a cookie, or even a crumb! Because I do so well on my leash, I enjoy hiking and long walks, but dedicated yard playtime is just fine with me, too! I also love belly rubs, snuggling up under your arm on movie night, and I am over the moon for tennis balls! I get along well with other dogs, too. I am still learning how to share and like to eat my meals without any hangry hounds trying to steal off my plate, though! I was rescued from a place where my meals were not guaranteed, and I often went hungry, so I like to keep my meals, bones, and snacks all to myself understandably! I would do great as your one-and-only pupperoni too, I don't need furred friends to be happy! I do well with children, as well, but I might knock over the littlest bittie with my happy-go-lucky tail! A house setting with a fenced yard would be the icing on the cookie (no apartments for me please!) - I am respectful of boundaries so I am flexible with my fence types!
