About Charmin Carmen
Charmin Carmen is a roughly 2-year-old German Shepherd mix with a mellow, loving personality and soft brown eyes that pull you in. She’s about 62 pounds and still putting on a little weight, but her affection is already at full strength. Carmen wants in on every moment and doesn’t like to be left out—she follows her people from room to room, always hoping to join in whatever’s happening. She’s reliably gentle and patient with children, gets along well with other dogs, and even does fine around cats and chickens. You’ll find she’s crate trained, house trained, and knows her way around a dog door. Carmen is food motivated and keen to keep learning. She does have a Level 5 heart murmur managed with daily medication (around $200 monthly), which she takes without fuss and that keeps her comfortable. Because of her heart condition, Carmen can’t be safely spayed—her new family must keep her supervised around un-neutered males. Her sweet nature shines through in everything she does, and she forms deep bonds with the people she calls family. Charmin Carmen is waiting for a safe, loving home where she will be included in all the good moments life has to offer. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
