About Shelby
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Shelby marches to the beat of her own drum, or rather the band of her people. She absolutely LOVES her humans—hopelessly devoted and always wanting to be wherever you are. Her attachment to her people is strong, and her foster mom is carefully helping her learn that she doesn't need to be with you every moment. Shelby also enjoys the company of another dog, with a preference for males, though she can be a bit of a bossy companion. Her doggie brother doesn't mind supporting her and lets her be in charge. Shelby cannot be placed with cats, as her hound instincts have her chasing them every time. True to her breed, she also has a signature vocal style that's sure to win over hound lovers. Shelby's ideal home would be one where her people are around most of the time, she has a friendly male dog to bond with, and there are no children or cats to worry about. As a sweet older lady, she is looking for the comfort of a cozy couch, a set routine, loving guardians, and all the joys of rural relaxation. Plus, with a July 11th birthday, she's a Cancer—making her extra loyal and loving by nature! Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
