About Nora

Nora is a striking, bright, and delightfully quirky Cardigan Welsh Corgi mix, fiercely loyal to her chosen people. If she claims you as part of her pack, get ready for joyful greetings and plenty of character. Nora lights up when she has room to race—she’s happiest with wide open space, especially if there’s snow. Off-leash with dogs she knows, she’s a happy playmate. Indoors, she thrives on routine walks and picking up new tricks, even showing off her signature dance on her hind legs. Nora’s journey has been tough. She survived a rough start overseas and experienced brain damage after a spay operation gone wrong (she is now properly spayed and fully vaccinated). Her quirks are real: a thunderous bark, a strong protective streak, and some resource guarding around food. Nora can be reactive to dogs on leash but mellows out in open spaces. New people take time, but she does warm up with steady, persistent introductions. She needs space and an exit route wherever she is—being cornered or overstimulated can trigger intense anxiety, and she can redirect with a nip if pushed too hard. Calm, less crowded environments work best; an urban row house is not her match. She needs an adult household, preferably in a quieter suburban or rural area with a securely fenced yard. Other dogs are possible companions once they’re familiar; cats and kids under 12 are not advised. With respect for her boundaries and someone who appreciates her spirit, Nora will offer friendship, protection, and dancing joy. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
