About Catalina

Catalina is a 10-month-old spayed female Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua mix who, along with her sister Joy, came from Puerto Rico after being rescued from a lakeside with her siblings. Now in Chelsea, VT, Catalina is thriving in foster care. She has a playful, social, and sweet nature that shows in her constant interactions with people, dogs, and cats—she truly gets along with everyone she meets. Catalina is crate trained and is in the process of learning her house training and manners, but she picks up new routines quickly. She absolutely loves toys and can entertain herself or join in interactive play for hours. It’s recommended Catalina not be adopted with her sister so she can bond fully and thrive with her own family. If a smart, energetic, and affectionate companion is what you’re after, Catalina could be the perfect fit. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
