Ransom is a sweet 4-year-old neutered male cat who craves connection once he settles in. He starts out reserved with new people, but it’s not long before his affectionate side surfaces. While he might not always choose your lap, Ransom is happiest curled up alongside you—he’ll wedge himself behind knees for a cozy nap or sandwich between people during TV time. Toys that flutter or feathers catch his eye, and he’s always up for face smooches and a brush through his soft fur. Ransom needs a home willing to keep him on lifelong medication for feline asthma and anxiety, plus a special diet for urinary health. He’s a champ about taking meds, and you’ll get a year’s supply of medication and at least three months’ food to get started. While other cats aren’t his thing, a gentle, respectful dog could be a possibility with time and patience. A quieter household suits him best. He’s part of the Foster-to-Adopt Program to help him find his perfect fit. Give this gentle, imperfect prince the home he deserves, and he’ll return the favor with devoted companionship.
