Meet Ruth. She is new to PugHearts. She is blind. She has heart worms. She is underweight. She comes to us as a local shelter dump, I suspect because she aged out of making puppies for profit. She has lots of healing to do and groceries to eat. But already she wags. Slight smile detected. Leash manners noted. Hope exuded. Greatness expected. After just a few days here, Ruth reveals her spunk with a good game of bite my bed, then falls asleep randomly with her head in her bowl. She is very attentive and attached to me already. She displays some fear of other pugs, but wags like crazy every time she does not see me. Don't discount the blind and broken among our stock. They have just as much love and humor to share. Ruth is aged at 8 years old. Look for a Christmas ready date, and follow her posts meantime!
