About Priya

Start your journey together! Apply now. Priya arrived at PugHearts dealing with a flea allergy that caused her some skin sensitivity, but with attentive veterinary care, she bounced back beautifully. At around 4 years old and weighing 21 pounds, Priya is an energetic, playful pug who adores snuggling with people and thrives both in her kennel and curled up in the human bed. She's making excellent progress with housebreaking—no accidents so far—and is becoming more comfortable entering her kennel at mealtimes. Priya continues to blossom as she learns to seek attention in a calm, gentle way, quickly picking up routines and commands thanks to her bright mind. She does prefer to be the boss, so her ideal home would not include other dominant dogs. With her progress and zest for life, Priya is sure to keep getting better each day.
