Meet Shana Grace (Gracie)! Shana Grace is an absolute doll—she has the most beautiful black and brown brindle coat, the softest puppy-dog eyes, and the cutest floppy ears that bounce when she walks! At around 4 years old, she’s ready to bring calm, love, and snuggles into her forever home. Gracie is believed to be a Lab / Plott Hound mix—but since she’s a rescue, we can’t make any promises. Her perfect day is a slow stroll in the yard, a cozy nap in a sunny spot, and then curling up right beside you for cuddles. She’s house-trained, walks nicely on a leash, and enjoys peaceful car rides where she can watch the world go by. She’s affectionate without being demanding, and she will happily give kisses to her foster sister—or to anyone she trusts. Gracie is a gentle, calm soul. She can be a little shy when meeting new dogs, but once she feels comfortable, she’s happy to relax nearby or slowly join in play on her terms. She has been around children and teenagers, and with her mellow temperament, she would likely be amazing with kids. She’s patient, gentle, and sweet, making her a perfect companion for a family who wants a calm, loving pup by their side. When it comes to cats, Gracie’s cat test was a little inconclusive because she was distracted and curious about everything else going on in the room. She did not show any signs of aggression, but until we can do a more thorough test, we just don’t know for sure.
