About Lydia
Make their next chapter their best one yet. Say hello to Lydia, a charming 3-year-old pug who has just discovered the comforts of the good life. Lydia is an exceptionally tiny little lady, and though she arrived at the rescue in rough shape with a host of parasites, all have been treated, and she’s now on her way to feeling her best. Lydia does have heartworm and will be available for adoption after she completes her treatment and crate rest, expected to finish by mid-November. Extremely loving and sweet, Lydia tends to be shy and a bit withdrawn at first, but she is steadily gaining confidence and enjoying gentle interactions with her foster household. She’s an absolute angel—very well-behaved, crate trained with no barking, and making excellent progress in potty training. Lydia loves her meals and would thrive as an only pet, where she can soak up all the attention she craves without competition. Keep Lydia on your radar as a potential new family member. She promises to bring you plenty of pug love and warmth once she’s ready for adoption! This could be the start of something paw-some.
