About Max
Few dogs draw as much attention as Max. At 18 months old and around 53 pounds, he’s a Pit Bull Terrier mix who has charm to spare and a deep love for every person he meets. Max thrives on human company, often sprawling across your lap or seeking any chance to soak up affection. Expect him to nudge for an ear scratch or rest his head on you — wherever he fits, he stays. His expressive eyes have a way of melting defenses, and he lives for those moments of connection. Still in his puppyish phase, Max has energy to burn. He’s wild about his toys and will chew, tug, and shred with puppy determination. He loves playing outside and is still working on his leash manners, but shows plenty of promise. Max has a gentle temperament and gets along well with other dogs, eager to make friends wherever he goes. A people pleaser, Max responds well to treats and has already picked up commands like sit, down, paw, speak, and leave it. He’s housebroken, good on the road, and shares his things easily. While he does deal with some separation anxiety, he’s making progress with patience and routine, and he understands the crate — even if it isn’t his favorite place. Max is more than ready for a devoted home that can offer patience, stability, and plenty of love. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
