About Kane

Kane is a small, gentle soul weighing about 30 lbs. Despite being completely blind, he’s figuring out his new life with a halo and takes it in stride. True to his pug roots, naps are a big part of his day—whether that’s on the couch or cozied up in his crate. A quiet home with low-key people suits him best. He enjoys regular walks and has already made friends among the neighborhood dog walkers and their pets. Kane was found after a dog attack and still carries old scars, but he remains friendly with other dogs. He’s crate and house trained, never once having an accident since arriving. He’s had nares surgery for easier breathing, is neutered, and will soon start heartworm treatment. Daily eye drops are part of his routine to manage dry eye. Kane is easy to love and greets everyone he meets with affection and warmth. He’ll bring a peaceful, loving presence to the right home. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
