Decibel
AvailableThis medium-sized, adult male Domestic Short Hair is being cared for at Purr Partners. He is neutered, house trained, and has been fully vaccinated. Decibel is FELV positive and benefits from monthly medication for skin health. Despite his special needs, he gets along well with other cats—including bonding easily with those who are FELV positive—and even enjoys the company of dogs. Decibel has overcome past health challenges and settled into a playful, affectionate temperament.
About Decibel
This could be the start of something paw-some. Decibel has overcome a lot since being rescued, starting out with hair loss, delicate skin issues, and being dangerously underweight after trying to survive on his own. Life has turned around for this charming adult kitty, now a healthy medium-sized boy who loves making biscuits and playing with anything that catches his eye. While he adores attention and loves being around his people, he can be a little sensitive about where he's touched and will kindly let you know if something bothers him. He is currently on a monthly dose of revolution to help prevent skin irritations and keep him feeling his best. Despite the hard times he went through, Decibel is affectionate, playful, and even enjoys hanging out with the senior dog in his foster home. He’s become best friends with his little foster brother Cheesy Puff, and watching them wrestle, chase, and nap together is pure joy. However, because Decibel doesn’t always retract his claws when making biscuits and can be a bit nippy when certain spots are touched, he’s best suited for families without young children or inexperienced cat owners. Decibel is FELV positive, so he needs to be in a home either as a solo pet or with other FELV positive kitties—having a friendly feline companion to pal around with would make him happiest. If you’re looking for an adorable survivor who’s playful, sweet, and ready to start his next chapter, Decibel could be your perfect match. Fun fact: with a birthday in late August, Decibel is a Virgo, which might explain his gentle and thoughtful side! Your new best friend is just one click away.
