Bob is a gray and white male domestic short hair cat with a medium build, currently residing at Puppy Rescue of Minnesota. He is an adult who has been both neutered and fully vaccinated, and is house trained. Bob does have special medical needs, as he is FeLV positive, which means he will require mindful care, regular veterinary visits, and should not be housed with FeLV-negative cats.

About Bob

They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Bob—short for Bobcat—arrived one spring looking every bit the little wildcat: scruffy, skinny, and unsure about people. Thanks to patience and gentle care, he has blossomed, discovering the comforts of indoor living. Bob quickly mastered the litter box and now even comes when called! His gentle, observant nature makes him a curious soul eager to explore the world around him. While he hasn't lived up close with other pets, Bob remains calm and interested when seeing cats and dogs nearby. From once shy beginnings, he is growing more confident every day, enjoying soft beds, tasty treats, and the reassurance of a loving touch. This special boy is ready for his safe, happy forever home—one where he can continue to thrive. Bob does need a specific environment due to FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus), which weakens the immune system and makes cats more susceptible to infections. With attentive care, regular vet checkups, and a nutritious diet, FeLV-positive cats often enjoy a normal, happy life. It’s important to know Bob cannot live with FeLV-negative cats, but he can join other FeLV-positive felines or be your one-and-only. FeLV is not contagious to humans or animals other than cats. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
