Louie
AvailableLouie is a playful, young neutered male Pit Bull Terrier mix currently in Buffalo, NY. He’s medium-sized with a blue brindle coat, full of energy, and eager to please. Louie is crate trained, enjoys mental stimulation, and is up to date on all his vaccines. He’s come a long way from his tough start and is ready for a loving home that values an active lifestyle and ongoing training.
About Louie
Louie’s story isn’t the easiest, but it shows what determination and care can do. At just six months old, he’s already overcome a rough beginning—found as a neglected stray, he arrived at his foster home stained and suffering from severe nutritional deficiency that left his front legs weakened. Two months of rehab, including nutrition, supplements, and hours of swim therapy (which Louie loves), have brought him back into balance. Louie is food motivated and thrives in training sessions, having recently completed an AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy program. He’s crate trained, well-mannered on a leash, and not reactive around dogs on walks. However, Louie still needs a home where he’s the only dog—his rough play style, tendency to chase cats, and inability to read social cues mean he’s best suited as your one-and-only. Louie’s active and loves the outdoors, walks, and exploring with outgoing, fearless energy, but also knows how to crash for long snuggles after a good day. He is neutered, microchipped, and fully up to date on vaccines and preventatives. A 6-week obedience class is included with his adoption. A home meet & greet and vet reference are required to bring Louie home. Your new best friend is just one click away.
