Koal is at ease with other cats, never bothered when a kennel mate passes by or joins him—the more, the merrier as long as things stay calm. He’s begun to explore, play with toys, and even enjoys affection, drooling when he’s truly content. Koal doesn’t want to be picked up but loves being petted and will gently tap you when he wants more attention. He needs a patient adopter and a peaceful, stable home—no loud dogs or young children. Apartments are fine as long as the commitment is long-term. Expect him to be shy initially; Koal has never known life outside the shelter, so moving straight into a home would overwhelm him. Instead, his adopter must visit him, sometimes repeatedly over weeks or months, until Koal feels safe. With time and steady care, he will settle in and become a loyal, heartwarming companion.
