About Lucy

Meet Lucy, a resilient 2-year-old domestic shorthair tabby ready for a fresh start in life. Lucy's journey has been tough; she came from a hoarding situation where her earlier life was filled with challenges. Initially, she was semi-feral and did not trust people, but the team at Precious Paws has worked hard to help her find her way to a better life. When Lucy was rescued, she was pregnant, giving birth to three kittens shortly after. Protecting her babies was her top priority, and understandably so. Now, with her motherhood behind her, Lucy is slowly discovering that people can bring kindness and safety. You might catch her watching you intently as you clean her kennel, and she’s beginning to enjoy being petted. Although she prefers not to socialize with other cats at this time, Lucy is ready for a home where she can feel secure and loved. She may not immediately jump into your lap, but her journey of trust is underway. Picture her curling up beside you or enjoying a sunny spot by the window. This sweet girl is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and house trained. With a little patience, she can learn to embrace the comforts of a real homeβ€”a cozy bed, a sunny spot, and the love she craves. Could you be the one to give Lucy the forever home she deserves?
