At barely 12 months old. BLANCO was an owner surrender to the New York Animal Care Center. His family spoke about how very playful and active he is. but yet there he was in a strange place. Of course his behavior there changed but he still remained a volunteer and staff favorite. His time was coming to an end and he needed a savior. A young guy stepped up but it wasn't a good fit. Thank Dog one of our amazing fosters took the reins and we sent Blanco there. He's been decompressing and impressing his foster mom with his antics ever since. He is now ready for his forever home. Blanco is a big fan of playing tug of war with a rope. He would love a family who enjoys interactive games with him. He is a very alert dog who enjoys being involved in family life and spending time with his people. While Blanco gets along well with people, he may not be suitable for a home with cats. He is crate trained and good on the leash. Blanco is loyal and loving. His loving nature make him a fantastic companion for a family. Consider opening your home to this wonderful dog. Blanco still has a puffy, playful, puppy like approach to life, including his jumping and his curious exploration. This means his new family should be patient and consistent and utilize positive reinforcement to help him learn appropriate boundaries and channels energy constructively. He can get over aroused quickly and not a fan of baby talk. LOL Blanco is a charming social dog who quickly wins everyone over. He is treat motivated and loves his toys, He is resilient and can adapt to many situations. He handles that very well.
