About Rocky Aka Giddy Up
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Giddy Up, or Rocky as he is lovingly called, had a rough start as a stray on the streets of NYC before being saved from euthanasia. Since finding safety, Rocky has shown that he is an affectionate and joyful companion who instantly bonds with everyone he meets. His resilience shines through his sweet, loving nature—he adores children, warmly greets strangers, and thrives in the company of other dogs, often playing harmoniously with a house full of furry friends. Rocky is fully housetrained and communicates when he needs to go out, using the family’s French door as his signal. He’s comfortable in a crate both during the workday and overnight, making him easy to manage in a busy household. Eager for affection and always ready to snuggle up, Rocky never misses an opportunity to show his love with kisses or by curling up beside you for TV time. He still carries puppy energy, delighting in play and exploring with his signature short legs and long body. While he is known to be a bit of a counter surfer—his curiosity about what’s on the menu is unmatched—it’s just part of his fun-loving character. He’s truly just looking for a family to love and a place to call home. This could be the start of something paw-some.
