Gomer showed up as a stray in New York with little background, but quickly won over shelter volunteers with his outgoing nature and love for a good walk. After landing on the At Risk List at the NYC municipal shelter, a foster stepped in just in time to save him. Gomerās about four years old, weighing in around 60 pounds, and is a Pit/Amstaff mix. Heās neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and is fully house and crate trained. Gomer gets along well with other dogs if introductions are handled the right way and does well with adults and older kids. Heās not a match for homes with cats. When it comes to energy, Gomer is always ready for actionāheāll need an adopter whoās prepared and excited to keep up with his pace. Heās sharp, eager to please, and happiest when he has work to do or goals to accomplish.
