About Peyton
Peyton is a sweet, handsome Pit Bull Terrier puppy looking for his forever home. This young dog was born into tough circumstances but has thrived in foster care since nearly day one. Peyton is deaf and communicates using a few basic signs—he surprises people with how quickly he learns. He’s house trained, loves his crate, and doesn’t bark much, making him a calm presence in the house. Peyton is highly social with other dogs and should live with at least one canine companion; he’s happiest as part of a real dog pack. He does best with dogs close to his age or with older, confident, laidback friends. Peyton is not suited for homes with cats or small children, as he can’t hear little ones and startles easily. Older, respectful kids can do well with Peyton. He comes from a family of blue Pit Bulls with notably good temperaments. Peyton has been featured many times at K-9 Playtime doggy daycare, always in the company of canine friends. His foster has plenty of photos to share if you’d like to see more of his sweet face. Peyton is waiting in Libertyville, IL for someone with a soft spot for special pups and an existing dog or two—he would love to meet you. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
