About Frannie

Start your journey together! Apply now. Frannie is a 6 to 7-year-old pit bull terrier mix with a heart-melting smile and a sweet, golden short coat. Weighing between 40-45 pounds, Frannie is fostered with Northwest Animal Companions and impresses everyone with her gentle nature—her foster calls her practically perfect! She gets along wonderfully with small dogs and delights in playtime with larger ones, though any big dog companions in her forever home should be introduced and tested for compatibility. Frannie is spayed and up-to-date on her vaccinations, with a healthy set of teeth for her age. Don’t be fooled by her frosty face—she’s energetic and still loves to run, always motivated by the promise of a treat (especially peanut butter or cheese). She’s been wonderful with older kids and would likely be happy with younger respectful children too. However, Frannie does have a strong prey drive and isn’t suitable for a home with cats or small animals, though small, friendly dogs are just fine. Frannie adores belly rubs and spending time outdoors, making her a versatile fit for a variety of homes—whether it’s a family, a single adventurer, or a retired couple looking for a loving companion. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
