About Kylie

Kylie is a 4-year-old Lab/Cur mix who came to the rescue with her sister Kendall after being found as a stray. Both were underweight when they arrived, but they're thriving now with a little help from the shelter. Kylie is gentle and can be a bit shy at first, but her sweet nature comes out quickly. She does best with another dog for companionship—if she can't stay with Kendall, it's recommended she joins a home with a resident dog to help ease her anxiety. Kylie gets along well with other dogs, is friendly with cats, and is comfortable around children, making her an easy fit for most families. Kylie is currently heartworm positive and has already started treatment. Her adopter must be committed to continuing her heartworm care and transportation to her appointments; the rescue will cover costs for the entire protocol. Kylie is spayed, house trained, and her vaccinations are up to date. She's located in Bolivar, MO, and can be transported to Denver, Des Moines, or St. Louis for approved adopters. A little fun fact: born on January 11, Kylie is a determined and loyal Capricorn. She’s ready for a fresh start in a home that understands her needs. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
